I just wanted to take a second and say THANK YOU.

Thank you for dealing with my madness. 😂 Thank you for showing up for us at Ren Fest. Thank you for patiently waiting while we took a couple weeks off, changed the menu 900 times, tore apart a bathroom, pushed our reopening back, and tried to get this little place put back together.

And most of all, THANK YOU FOR SHOWING UP THIS WEEK. ❤️

Running a small business is wild. Some days I feel like I have it all together, and other days I'm cooking six orders, answering the phone, trying to figure out DoorDash, wondering why online ordering isn't working, and reminding myself that there is only one of me. 😂

But you guys just keep showing up.

You try my crazy food ideas. You tell your friends about us. You follow along with whatever project I've gotten myself into next. You root for us. You support this little restaurant through every season, every change, and all the chaos in between.

I don't think I say it nearly enough, but I am SO incredibly grateful for every single one of you.

Thank you for letting me be a little messy, a little crazy, and completely myself while I figure this whole small-business thing out as I go.

We are CLOSED at the restaurant while we finish out our final weekend at the Renaissance Festival and take a little time to recharge afterward.

HOLY MOTHER CLUCKING WEEKEND! 😂💚

I'm finally sitting here processing this weekend and all I can really say is… wow. You guys showed up for us in a way I never could have imagined.

Saturday was officially the busiest day I've ever worked in my life. 😵‍💫 And if you happened to be near our booth and heard me doing a little mother-clucking of my own from the kitchen… I apologize. 😂 Apparently my internal monologue became external a few times.

Seriously though, THANK YOU for your patience, your kindness, and the incredible amount of support you've shown our little business. 💚

And just like that, we're heading into Sweet Endings — our FINAL Ren Fair weekend. 🥲 Definitely a bittersweet one.

Come see us Friday, Saturday & Sunday for one last HUZZAH!

I can't believe we're already at this point, but tomorrow will be our last day open at the restaurant until October 14th. 💚

We still have two weekends left at the Renaissance Festival, and what an adventure this season has been. I'm incredibly proud of what we've pulled off, but I'm also not going to lie… I'm tired. 😂

Once we make it through these final five days at fair, I'm giving myself a little time to actually rest, spend some time at home, and give the restaurant some attention before we jump into our next season.

And THAT is the part I'm getting really excited about. 🍂

I've had fall food running through my head for weeks. I'm ready for cozy, hearty, saucy, ridiculously good comfort food. I'm ready to change things up, bring back some favorites and finally have some fun creating a brand-new fall menu.

And you know what else I'm ready for?

SOUP. 🥣

Cheezy Broccoli is coming back, along with a new fall-inspired soup that I'm still dreaming up.

We're also hoping to tackle a few projects while we're closed! Including some much needed love for our bathroom.

This summer and Renaissance Festival season have been a whirlwind, and I'm really looking forward to having a few days to reset and come back feeling creative and excited about the restaurant again.

So we're going to finish these last two weekends at fair, take a little breather, make some changes, cook some delicious food and then…

Huzzah! Week 4 of 7 at the Michigan Renaissance Festival is this weekend!!! We are officially halfway through festival season and doing amazing! ✨

I truly cannot thank everyone enough for the love and support. To everyone who has stopped by our booth, tried something new, come back for more, shared our posts, or just cheered us on… thank you. You are making this wild, beautiful adventure possible.

First off, THANK YOU. 💜 Seriously.
You guys have been absolutely amazing while we try to juggle the Juice Box during the week and then run off to the Michigan Renaissance Festival every weekend.

After trying out these shorter hours, I can finally say… I DON’T FEEL COMPLETELY FRAZZLED. 🙌💜 I’ve actually been able to keep up with the store, get my Ren Fest prep done, and feel like I’m back on my game!

And THANK GOODNESS because WEEKEND 2 IS COMING!!! 🧚‍♀️🍄🏰 We had such an incredible first weekend and I seriously cannot wait to get back out there!

This is our STORE menu for Wednesday–Friday! Our Renaissance Festival menu is very similar, but there are a few differences. So if you’re coming to see us at the fair, don’t use this one as your official cheat sheet.

Ren Fest season is officially in full swing and you guys know me… I LOVE the chaos 😂🏰💜

The prep, the ridiculous amount of chopping, running back and forth, feeding all of you during the week and then doing it all over again at fair on the weekend… this is my kind of crazy.

BUT 😂 I’m learning that I need to give myself a little more prep time if I want to keep doing all of it the way I want to.

So Jacq N Diane’s is officially switching to lunch hours during Ren Fest season!

Wednesday–Friday
