Hollis Tommy’s Pizza is proud to offer PIES — 𝐏𝐢𝐳𝐳𝐚 𝐈𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐄𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐬, a community program providing a 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐏𝐈𝐙𝐙𝐀 to senior citizens who live right here in Hollis.

We believe a local business should be more than just a place that sells food. It should be part of the community it serves. PIES is one small way for us to give something back to the people who have spent years making Hollis the community it is today.

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐈𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬

Qualifying 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐬 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐬 can receive a 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐏𝐈𝐙𝐙𝐀 on Fridays.

To participate in the PIES program, you must:

Be 𝟔𝟓 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 of age or older

and

Be a 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐬, Maine

You can choose whichever option works best for you:

Home Delivery:
We will deliver your pizza to your home in Hollis sometime during our normal Friday service hours. Because we will be making deliveries while also operating the food truck, we cannot guarantee a specific delivery time.

Pickup:
You're also welcome to come see us and pick up your pizza in person at:

Skipping Wednesday (9/30) as well. Should be back at it on Thursday. I’ve attached proof via a picture from my annual doc appointment at the Portland VA clinic, so you don’t think I’m skipping work and fire me. Well, I guess it could also be the plaque outside your Selectboard office…. You’ll have to figure that out though.

Fridays are insanity. We do about 60-100 pizzas in a matter of 3-4 hours, and you guys are the most patient people in the world. This Friday was even more crazy because I had to leave my new guy (Rook) to fend for himself because I got pulled away for a tow truck crash call (my real job), smack dab in the middle of the Friday dinner rush. We turn off/throttle online orders when we get a bunch of orders at once, so it doesn’t push your pickup times to the moon. So if you tried to order online and couldn’t, that’s why that happened. “Something, something, growing pains, something, something, excuse, excuse…..” regardless of how slow and lame it is when you order on Fridays, we appreciate you sticking with us. We’ll see you again next week, for some awesome conversations, and some slightly above average pizza.

If you’re a Hollis resident don’t forget to sign the citizens petition to ban data centers and Amazon facilities in town. Gorham just started a new one to try and ban uses that produce over 1500 vehicle trips a day because they can’t figure out a way to stop the 3000(!) trip a day Amazon warehouse they weren’t ready for and are now scrambling to try and shrink/stop.
