Hello! 👋 a little update on miss Dalia

Today she’s two! She is crawling and taking steps to walk. She says mama,papá, pop, go etc. She is off the vent all wake hours and naps.

Holbrook!! My Holbrook family, saying we miss you all is an understatement. I haven’t been giving updates because I had “lost” the page for a while and I finally got it back today.

Coincidentally today baby girl turns one. A year ago today our life took a turn, and god sent us one of his biggest and strongest warriors. She is now 16lbs and nods her head no and says “ma ma”.

We hope to see you soon, I’m trying to convince boss man to sell salsa in mason jars fingers crossed.

3 hospitals, 6 rooms, 3 ambulance rides and 237 days im finally home! I’m going to miss all my hospital friends but mommy, daddy, brother and me are happy to be home. Can someone just explain to me one thing… why is mommy crying?? Isn’t this suppose to be mommy’s happiest day?

5 years ago we decided to pursue our dream and open up a restaurant, the 2 years we were down town we struggled to keep it open but we kept on pushing forward. After those 2 years we moved up town, and started of with a BOOM my family and I were so excited to see that we were selling more then $90 on a 12 hour shift.

⏩ fast forward to today.. the end of last year and the beginning of this year have been a roller coaster to us, from having my father in law pass away to having a preemie baby not even a month later. All the driving and trying to keep the place going have been a lot. And to top it all off problems with the landlord. Three weeks ago we made the tough decision to close our doors the end of this month. We started telling everybody that went to the restaurant and ask them to let the people they knew know ( we didn’t want to make a big deal because of the landlord). With heavy hearts sombreitos last day was May 30th,2023.

I want to thank the customers who followed us from day one, the customers we made along the way, my angel customers whom I got the pleasure of meeting. My sombreitos family who kept us in your prayers when thing were a little rough for us. I will keep this page opened to send you updates on baby girl and to let you know what we will be doing. I can’t thank all of you enough for believing in us. You will all have a special place in me and my family’s heart, this is not a good bye but more of an hasta luego.

Update on baby girl, g-tube surgery was pushed to today she went in at 12:45pm and got out at 2:08pm she’s recovering wonderfully showing us all how strong she is. Thank you for the prayers
