I am sad that I have to write this post BUT to my customers that have a clear DISRESPECT for my rules in the bar LET ME EXPLAIN THE "WHY" BEHIND THE RULES
1. Back door is not to be used unless for emergency or if I allow due to a physical handicap.
Why? As a small business owner there has been items stolen from me, people breaking items outback and having fights. You want me to stay open and keep cops out of the bar? I can't afford taking a loss on products plus someone getting hurt. So STOP using the back door.
2. Zero tolerance policy for drug use and sale in my establishment.
Why? Because we strive to be a fun and safe place for everyone and ohh again want cops to stay out and people to be safe and it's illegal anyways!!
3. Don't stand at end of bar.
Why? You are in my staffs way, which makes it hard to serve others. You want your b**r fast, so do the tables. I have personally tripped over people. Serving customers and staying safe doesn't seem unrealistic especially since there is a whole other bar to use.
4. Tabs need a form of payment or ID to be kept open.
Why? I am a small business and can't afford to loss money because you leave without paying. Would like to keep doors open and be able to pay the bills.
5. No outside food or drinks other than liquor bottle which is a $10 fee.
Why? Only way I can stay open is to make money.
If you haven't got the point of the rules yet, here it is. I would like to stay open, I would like everyone to be safe, I would like to not give the cops a reason to come in, I would like to still be able to continue parties and activities with my customers but if I keep losing money or having issues all that stops and who known if I will be able to stay open.
Please remember respect goes both aways. None of these rules are for anyone to take personal unless you are the one not following them. I hope this clears up the Why behind things.
