Hey Food Matters family and friends! We want to thank all of you for allowing us to be of service to you. We appreciate you all and will forever be grateful for the opportunity! ❤️
Over the past 5 years, we have invested all of our time and energy into this business but unfortunately, we have decided to close our doors permanently. Our last day will be May 7, 2024. I know this seems sudden but it’s something we’ve been discussing for the past 6 months. It was a tough decision and we’ve been going back and forth with it because Food Matters is our passion and our purpose and we love and will miss all our customers!🥹 But we have been forcing something that just isn’t working. Usually, we have a “we’re not quitters, we’ll figure it out” attitude and that’s why we’ve been here so long lol but honestly we are drained and burnt out. The struggle of building a business from scratch and having a brick and mortar has been REAL and we haven’t had enough customers to keep the doors open for a long time…😕 we just keep figuring it out lol but we’ve decided that closing is the best decision for us.
We will fulfill all current meal plans and the last day to sign up will be this Wednesday, April 24th. No monthly plans available but we will be able to honor our two week plans. Our lobby fridge will also be stocked until May 7th so please eat with us until closing day! 🙂
And just so you know, I’m still going to meal prep. It’s part of who I am and I still have to prep for myself, my family, and some private clientele, so I will keep you all posted if I have openings or for pre-orders. 🫶🏼
Again, thank you all for your support over the years and please don’t be sad for us- we are definitely going to miss this place but we have prayed and prayed about it and we are ready for a new chapter. 😌📖❤️
P.S. we will be selling almost everything! Walk-in, stove, oven, maybe even our vent hood, shelves, miscellaneous items. Everything is in great condition! I will post pics and prices soon. 🫶🏼
