On October 1973 Marta and Ramiro Gonzales we’re blessed with awareness to see that God had planted a seed that needed them to water it to flourish into El Sombrero Café . We are known world wide because of all our loyal customer we are now serving 4 generations and will continue to do so. El Sombrero Cafe has been Blessed to be a Blessing � we are grateful and know that everything we have is a

blessing from God. We at El Sombrero take pride in daily preparing the best homemade mexican food served In a clean restaurant family environment. We are not only a restaurant but a loving community where you can enjoy delicious homemade food while visiting with family and friends. We look forward to seeing you and hearing your El Sombrero Cafe story about how you met your spouse, your children preferring enchilada rice and beans then chicken nugget’s , Or our little ones choosing to celebrate there birthday at el sombrero�. I asked God to bless us with play area so that all our little customers can enjoy while eating a homemade meal. Good morning everyone,

Following yesterday’s announcement of our closure, we’ve received many questions and wanted to provide a bit more clarity.

Our official closing date was Saturday, April 25th. We made the difficult decision not to announce it in advance due to the emotional impact and high demand it would have created, as we wanted to avoid overwhelming situations and unnecessary food waste.

While our doors are now closed, the recipe lives on. We are currently exploring options to continue offering our signature chile gravy and hot sauce in the future.

This has been incredibly emotional for our entire family. We will truly miss each and every one of you who supported us over the years.

Though the family has decided to retire after careful consideration, and economic realities have led us to this decision, we're thankful for the journey.
