❤️ URGENT: OUR COMMUNITY NEEDS US — AND WE NEED OUR COMMUNITY

We are asking for your help.
Bondservants Coffee Co. is more than a coffee shop. It is a ministry operating out of a coffee shop.
Every day, we work to help people in our community who are struggling by providing food, clothing, toiletries, encouragement, resources, and a place where people are treated with dignity.
We have helped people:
• Find transitional housing
• Search for affordable housing
• Navigate rent and utility assistance
• Find employment
• Connect with community resources
• Receive food, clothing, and basic necessities
• Take steps toward getting back on their feet
But here is the hard truth:
The coffee shop that helps fund this ministry is struggling.
For the past five months, God has provided through independent donors who have stepped in and helped supplement what the coffee shop has not been able to generate. We are incredibly grateful for every person who has believed in what we are doing and helped us keep the doors open.
But now, we need our community to step up with us.
We have applied for our 501(c)(3) status and are praying and hopeful that the process will be completed in the coming months. Until then, we are continuing to serve because the needs in our community don't stop while paperwork is being processed.
And we want to challenge one of the assumptions that is often made about people who are homeless.
Not everyone living on the streets is battling addiction.
Many of the people we encounter are elderly individuals who can no longer afford their property taxes or housing costs in a rapidly growing county.
Some are veterans living with traumatic brain injuries or other challenges after serving our country.
Some have experienced a medical crisis, loss of employment, divorce, death of a spouse, or another tragedy that completely changed their circumstances.
And if we're being honest…
Most of us are only a tragedy, medical emergency, or missed paycheck away from needing help ourselves.
We don't believe people should be defined by the worst season of their lives.
We believe in helping people find a way forward.
So we're asking:
WHAT CAN YOU GIVE TODAY?
Maybe you can give $10.
Maybe $25.
Maybe $50.
Maybe you can become a monthly supporter.
Whatever you can give can become part of helping someone move from surviving to rebuilding.
Your donation can help us continue providing basic necessities while helping people work toward something more permanent — getting off the streets and into affordable or transitional housing.
We aren't asking you to simply support a coffee shop.
We're asking you to help support a ministry that is trying to serve people who desperately need someone to care.
God has carried us for these first five months.
Now we are asking our community to help us carry this mission forward.
