Happy World Sea Turtle Day! 🐢

Hilton Head Island’s Sea Turtle Season starts in May and lasts until October. The majority of nesting sea turtles that come to the island are Loggerheads, and most of them will return after journeying thousands of miles to lay nests on our beaches every few years. This includes sea turtles that actually hatch on the island, making it a pretty neat generational tradition!

An estimated 31,460 Lowcountry neighbors face hunger and food insecurity. ❤️

Our resorts are proud to participate in the Second Helpings program, which is a nonprofit food rescue and distribution network striving to eliminate hunger and food waste in the South Carolina Lowcountry. They collect and distribute food that would have otherwise ended up in landfills, and provide it, free of charge, to 57 food pantries.
