We are loading up the Truck to the max for our first weekend of Festivals. We double booked 2 events for Sat the 17th !!!! 1st The Rise and Shine Market at Crosslink 3445 Old Hillsborough Rd in Mebane from 10am-2pm and then off to Graham to the Boo Fest Fall Market 5pm-8pm, hosted by Lawson’s Powercade and Little Oblivion 110-112 N. Main St. Graham 😎. Lots of great vendors and of course we’re smoking out the wings, bbq, turkey, brisket and mouth watering mac and cheese!!!

We have been rolling the late night smoke testing and of course tasting our smoked wings and fries!!! Man 🤤🤤🤤 they are hitting right !!!! We will load the truck down and hit the street on Oct 17th. Stay tuned for more!!!

It’s been a long week as we had a wedding to do Saturday. Love county weddings 🥰. We’re working hard behind the scenes to get the smoke rolling at a spot again. For now we will be set up on Oct 17th for the Rise N Shine Fall Market. Chicken wings, bbq and turkey sandwiches and fries 🤤. Thanks Nick and Layni and all the weddings parties.

The dust has finally settled and the numbers are in! 🔥

We're proud to announce that Kindred Coals will be donating $200 to the NC Children's Foundation !!! Thanks to everyone who came out and supported us at SECU Hillsborough's Food Truck Friday.

We were slammed right out of the gate — so busy we didn't even get a picture! Thank you all for the incredible turnout, and a big thank you to SECU for hosting us.

Special shout out to Brandi and Hayes for being our very first customers. 🙌

We rolled out this morning, thinking we would have time slow roll set up get a cup of coffee but no y’all weren’t having it. Y’all were ready for some of this barbecue and brisket. We pulled it in the parking lot sideways, fired up everything and the brisket and mac & cheese were flying.  the dust hasn’t even settled yet as we’ve got a little event this evening, but I believe we rolled out about 100 plates and I can’t tell you how many sandwiches that went out. I can’t wait to see the numbers that everybody contributed to the North Carolina children’s foundation we’ll post those numbers soon big shout out to State Employees Credit Union in Hillsborough for hosting . What a wonderful cause and allowing us to have our first event with the Kindred Coals wagon. Thanks all for coming out on a beautiful day and having lunch with us.

Rolled smoke all day !!! Bbq, Briskets, turkey and sides all put to bed just waiting to roll out tomorrow!!!! 16lb of cheese alone in the Mac and Cheese!!! Definitely will stick to your ribs 😎. Come out and see us. It will go fast !!!!

SECU of Hillsborough has asked us to roll smoke for their Food Truck Friday event along with Carolina Cream & Coffee, and obviously we said yes!!!! They're hosting this event to raise money for the NC Children's Foundation 🥰

What an awesome way to break in the truck for a great cause!

3 years ago I watched a crew feed Orange County Deputies from a food trailer. The hickory and pecan smoked pork filled the parking lot. I just stepped in the trailer and watched. This man named Jay looked at me and said can I help you. I said nah just admiring and taking in the smell of good bbq. Jay handed me a lb of bbq without even knowing my name. Little did I know a friendship and mentorship had begun. Jay “Fat Man”. 100 days ago I bought a food truck and Kindred Coals was born. Yesterday Alamance County Health Department issued my permit first time out !!!! Big shout out to all. The smoke, sauce and rubs are about ready to roll!!!!

Finally got the call from Mincey’s Graphics today and they knocked it out of the park !!!!! I was shocked when I drove up. They killed it. I trusted their knowledge and experience and they rolled. Their crew and staff were top notch!!!! Now getting it ready for the health department inspection 😎
