Well we opened in a pandemic and it looks like we are going to close in a snow storm. Hopefully we will be able to open tomorrow for our last day but for today we are going to close and get our staff home safe. Sorry for any inconvenience. Everyone stay safe.

Last night was a sad night because when I closed up and locked the door I did it for the last time on a Saturday. Many of you already know but I feel I should make it official. Tobias Public House will be closing its doors for good on Friday December 23rd. It is very sad to me because I have loved serving the Hillsboro community at the Hillsboro Country Club. But, when one door closes another one opens and for me that is taking my amazing staff and our talents to the RED ROOSTER!!!! John, Kendra, and their awesome family have welcomed the TPH family into their amazing establishment and we couldn’t be more excited. I will be running the brand new kitchen and taproom for them. We also will be taking one more important factor with us. Our menu. With some slight adjustments you can still get our amazing burgers and Sammiches as well as some new items. Great things are coming to Hillsboro and the Red Rooster so get ready. In the meantime come see us for our final week. Please know though that we are running down inventory so we might be out of a few things. We want to thank the Hillsboro Country Club for giving us a chance and getting our foot into Hillsboro. It’s been a ride. Most of all we want to thank our wonderful customers and regulars, you know who you are and we do too, for supporting us though a pandemic, inflation, bird flu, and whatever else this world has thrown at us. You truly are amazing. It is bittersweet but just know this will not be goodbye but SEE YOU SOON!
