It has been quite some time since we’ve opened our food truck. Many of you stop us on the street and ask when the next time we will be open. We feel the love. With as busy as the ice cream shop has been, we have not been able to open. However, we love the Boat Regatta and tomorrow is your chance to grab Brisket, Smoked turkey, Hot dogs, and Smoked Mac and cheese. We would love to see you at this fun event. Serving from 10:30-12 @ 4th of July Point.

I made this first one for Jill and I quite some time ago and we both loved it—but somehow I moved on and forgot to add it to the food truck rotation. That changes tonight.

It’s FESTIVUS for the rest of us!🎄
We’re open tonight 12/23 and celebrating the right way—with a Baby Back Rib Special!

Come air your grievances, perform feats of strength, and crush a plate of ribs that’ll make everything better.

Starting at 6. We will be at Hillsboro Creamery courtyard (The Creamery is open as well) and there will be QR codes to order from Opera House Brewing Company if you would rather us deliver. Either way, BBQ, Ice Cream, and a Beer, seems like a great Festivus evening.

Join us for the 3rd annual Hillsboro downtown block party. Today(Saturday). We’ll be set up in Hillsboro Creamery courtyard starting at 5 PM.

The block party is always very well attended. To keep the wait time down we will have a split menu this year.

Prepping for a cold day with hot soup. We will be set up in the courtyard at Hillsboro Creamery. Order at the window and wait inside the creamery or order from Opera House Brewing Company and we will deliver. Soup starts at 12.

This week’s brisket is a little different.

I usually order good, reliable briskets and let the process, the smoker, and what I’ve learned over time do the work. This time, my supplier accidentally sent prime brisket, so that’s what we’re cooking tonight. I’m excited to see how it turns out and to share it with you.

One of Jill and my favorite things to do is traveling and discovering new food. We love finding food that we can add to our menu. Last year we visited Hawaii and discovered a food truck that served Garlic Alfredo Rice. It was delicious and unique. Tonight (12/6) is the night, it has made it to our menu!
