Back when the Holiday Opera was just getting started, the daughter of one of the customers, a young Jewish girl, asked Bill why there are no Hanukkah carrols. Bill offered up "Dreidel Dreidel Dreidel" but the girl wasn't having it. Bill figured if a Jewish guy like Irving Berlin could right Christmas tunes why couldn't an Italian lasagna maker from Highwood right a Hanukkah tune.

The Del Rio Holiday Opera, a 40 year old family tradition in Highwood Illinois, is sold out this year BUT we always have seats becoming available.
We currently have seats available for the 8:30pm seating on several days. Call to inquire availability.
