Pierre Michel French Bakery:
2201 Wildcat Reserve PKY Highlands Ranch 80129
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place!
This is a family owned and operated authentic French Bakery.
Eric and Isabelle started this bakery in 2008 after moving from Lyon, France. They are both there 7 days a week.
This review I will focus on Breakfast but they serve Lunch, Brunch, and a pick-up and delivery service as well.

Pierre Michel offers the best breakfasts in Highlands Ranch, defininitely, if not the Denver metro area.
The Ambience is warm and inviting and much like the sidewalk bakeries you see in France. Eric and Isabelle's accents help with that as well!

I have had most every thing on their breakfast menu and never been disappointed. They seem to sell quite a few orders of their French Toast which are thick, sweet and melt in your mouth delicious! I typically order the Croc'Brie which basically is a sandwich of thick sliced homemade bread with ham and Brie cheese melted into it. I also get a fried egg on top too. If you would like a great big jolt in the morning their coffee is delicious and as strong as you like.

Their pastries are awesome as well. If I want to bring an elegant treat for special occasions.

I would give Pierre Michel 5 out of 5 stars.
Warning!: this place is VERY busy!

Los Dos Portrillos on Springer Drive
YAY! Finally! this place is now even closer to my home!
This is the third Los Dos in the chain of very popular mexican restraunts in the Denver metro area.
Although parking can be an issue at the other two locations, this one seems to provide ample parking being that this one is a free stang building not attached to another business.
Walked in and was welcomed by the host/hostess. They were very warm and inviting. Due to Los Dos's popularity we had a small wait which isn't uncommon with both other locations.
Once we were seated, we were served the usual chips and literally the best house salsa and greeted again by our server. I ordered the Carne Adobada Pork @$13.95 which I prefer with corn tortillas. I have had many dishes from Los Dos and NEVER been disapointed. I have been told that they make an excellent Margarita!
The food arrived quickly and thew pork was moist and very tender and seasoned to perfection (I have had this dish at all of the Los Dos locations and it tastes the same at all of them). As someone who have worked in many restraunts I can tell you that consistancy is of the utmost importance. This restraunt is Noisy as you would expect but I had no problem conversing with my guests. At the other locations they sometimes have a Mariachi band and hopefully they will do this here too.
The wait staff is friendly and will even teach you spanish!
Try this place for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Brunch.
This place I will give 5 out of 5 stars!

Havana Grill:
New to Highlands Ranch Havana Grill was welcoming, friendly, and tastefully decorated.
I had the Churrasco con Salsa Chimichurri at $18. The portion was a little small for an entree although very flavorful, and I could have used a little more Chimichurri. It came with a side of black bean, rice, and ham dish and it had a small pile of undressed romaine lettuce, which was a little confusing as to why this was there. I would have made an avocado vinegarette and upped the size.
I would like to try the Cuban sandwich next time as I am a fan of those.
The service was outstanding. I would give Havana Grill 3 out of 5 stars.
