Did you know your favorite pupusa is 2,000 years old? 🌽🛡️

At La Solecita we don’t just make food; we carry on a legacy. Long before they were the stars of our menu, pupusas were invented by the Pipil tribes of El Salvador!

From ancient herbs and squash seeds to the modern-day "Revuelta" fusion of savory pork and melty cheese, this dish has traveled through time to make its way to Hickory, NC. 🇸🇻✈️🇺🇸

When Anita hands you a warm, hand-patted pupusa, she’s sharing a piece of history that has been passed down for generations. That’s why we say: “Come for the flavors, stay for the feeling.”

Check out the "Epic History" infographic above! Which fact surprised you the most? Let us know in the comments! 👇
