This post is hard to write as it’s hard to get the right words. We have had to close the doors on Bubby’s Place. With my health and my wife’s health…we just aren’t able to keep the doors open.
While the Lord allowed Bubby’s Place to be open we pray it was the Light that we had hoped it would be…and that Jesus was able to shine through our little coffee shop. We hope people were able to get to know a great little hero named Joshua (better known as Bubby) that Loved God and Loved People…a young man that lived his life verse Romans 8:28.
We had the best customers and it was our pleasure serving during the time we were able to do so. We loved the times we were able to joke and laugh together…like when Fred got his nickname ( ) . At times we became someone’s shoulder to cry on…while others came in and had a small Bible Study. Whatever way we were able to serve you…we are thankful you allowed Bubby’s to be apart of it.
If you stepped into Bubby’s Place…we want you to remember one thing…the little hero that fought with bravery…laughter but MOST importantly the Lord’s strength. Bubby talked to the Lord every day…at times many times a day. He could only fight with the Lord’s strength because he KNEW his Lord. He had accepted Christ as his Saviour…he had accepted the free gift of Salvation. Bubby knew he couldn’t earn his way to Heaven. He understood that if we were dependent on our own works we wouldn’t go to Heaven. Bubs asked Jesus to be his Lord and Saviour accepting that free gift of Heaven. If you aren’t positive you’re going to Heaven one day when you pass…please reach out and we will gladly tell you.
