We’ll handle the cooking so you can relax and enjoy your family.

Smoked Turkey
Smoked Ham
Collard Greens
String Beans
Candied Yams
Macaroni & Cheese
Honey Butter Cornbread

These are the only items available for the Thanksgiving holiday at this time. If additional items are added, they will be released on a first-come, first-served basis.

Today we are elated to announce that we’ve been awarded 2025 RESTAURANT OF THE YEAR by Richmond Region Tourism.

Y’all. We’re a country roadside BBQ joint on Route 5 in Varina.
Many didn’t even know who we were though we've been at it for quite some time.

Well, let me tell you who we are:
We are consistent.
We are rooted in love...for our community, our family, and our food.
We are proud of what we serve, and who we serve...and that’s you. We are the Logan Crew of The Original Ronnie’s BBQ.

From the smoky meats to all the sides and good eats, this is bigger than BBQ.

If you’ve ever pulled up, pulled in, walked up, biked up, honked your horn when you smelled Big Red doing what she does best...
If you placed an order, told a friend (who told a friend), or hit us with a “thumbs up” online...THANK YOU.

Due to the ongoing water crisis in Richmond City and surrounding counties we at The Original Ronnie's BBQ are closed as a safety precaution.

Our #1 goal is to serve food SAFELY....we will advise when we will be up and running again.

In the meantime if you are in need of water...we have a 225gallon tank of WELL WATER to distribute to those in need....please bring your own containers to fill up as needed while supplies last.

We ask that you continue to follow the protocol set for by the city, county, and state regarding consumption.
