Tonight our awesome team from Derbyshire served 58 families representing 224 individuals and managed to get away before the storm hit.

Just a reminder, we are closed next Monday, June 29. We will see you again on Monday, July 6.

Here are our current needs:
Cereal
Hearty soup
Canned fruit and green vegetables
Mac & cheese
Mashed potatoes
Canned chicken
Snacks such as granola bars, peanut butter, cracker packs, individual packets of popcorn, pretzels, or goldfish,

At Welborne Community Food Pantry we love to serve the PEOPLE of this community. We are not interested in serving the squirrels and raccoons. For that reason, we ask that you PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, DO NOT LEAVE BREAD IN OUR BIN. (which is indicated by a note in the bin). Until we can get the situation under control, please leave nothing but canned goods in the bin. Please drop off your donations inside the building between 9 and 2 Monday through Thursday. The office is closed on Friday and Saturday.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone that dropped off food today. We will have enough for Monday. Our shelves are still pretty skimpy so we need to keep up this pace to continue to feed people this summer.

Here are our ongoing needs:
Mac & cheese
Hearty soup
Spaghetti Sauce (no glass, please)
Canned fruit
Cereal
Applesauce and fruit cups
Ramen
Canned green vegetables
Canned/pouch chicken

Tonight the Food Pantry served 62 families representing 282 individuals. Thanks to our friends at The Gayton Kirk (PCUSA) for an easy distribution.

🚨🚨🚨CRITICALLY LOW INVENTORY 🚨🚨🚨

Summer is the time when donations drop off and we are feeling that here at Welborne Community Food Pantry. We desperately need your help! We especially need items prior to Monday the 22nd when we will next be preparing bags.

Here are our most needed items:
Hearty soup
Applesauce and fruit cups
Canned chicken
Mac & cheese
Canned green vegetables
Canned fruit
Ramen
Mashed potatoes 
Cereal

Due to our low inventory, the fact that guests are only allowed 2 monthly visits and there are five Mondays in June, WE WILL BE CLOSED MONDAY, JUNE 29. If you are guest who has not yet visited this month, you may come tonight and the 22nd and still get your two visits in.

Thank you to St. Matts RVA, All Saints RVA and Good Shepherd United Methodist Church for dropping off food today. Summer is a difficult time for donations due to vacations, etc.

The Green Giant 4-packs of green peas and green beans are BOGO this week at Publix, so 75 cents a can once you break it down.

Publix has progressive soup bogo so 1.69 a can.

We are definitely in need of green vegetables and hearty soup at this time.
