As most of you are probably aware, Mean Mr. Mustard has closed our doors. We have been busy packing boxes and getting rid of unwanted items. We still have some items for sale such as coffee supplies, plasticware, jams & jellies, kitchenware and more. We also have a sofa and sewing cabinet which could be used as a side table. Make me an offer! If you are interested, contact me through Facebook and I can set up a time that is good for us both.

After 15 years, Mean Mr. Mustard's Cafe will be closing. We have sold our building and are planning to retire (or semi retire). Our last day to be open for business will be July 24.

We have met so many beautiful people and we thank you for your loyalty and support over the years. We struggled through many adversities including Covid and now labor shortage, but grateful to have somehow made it through.

We will be renting in the Laurel Park area after we close until we find a permanent residence. We would love to keep in touch with everyone and plan to leave our page open.

Sunday, May 15: Eggs Abraham with Port Tenderloin, tasso gravy, egg over a potato cake and sourdough toast. Baked goods: strawberry cream cheese muffins, cinnamon rolls, and cream cheese brownies. Open 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Today’s baked goods: Blueberry crumb coffee cake, sour cream banana nut bread, and cream cheese brownies. Today’s soup: Spinach and potato chowder. Our current hours are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 8 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. taking our last order at 1. We plan to expand our hours and days as we approach the busy summer season. We are looking for a host and servers if you know of anyone!

Part-time server needed on weekends and possibly weekdays from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. Responsibilities include taking orders, doing side work, and doing whatever is needed. We need someone who can multi task and work in a fast paced environment.

Cook needed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from approximately 6:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Responsibilities include egg & omelette preparation, flat top cooking and food prep. Fast paced environment. Experience necessary.

Hope everyone survived this latest snow storm! We have been closed all week, but are looking forward to opening tomorrow, Saturday as well as Sunday! I will be making cinnamon rolls tomorrow and the Sunday special will be Bangers and Hash with a side of 2 eggs and biscuit or toast. Our new Winter hours are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. Looking forward to seeing everyone!
