The newest board to hit the table at Claywood. 🤍

Featuring rotating cheeses, seasonal fruit, house preserves, olives, toasted bread, candied nuts, whole grain mustard, and thoughtful accompaniments designed to pair perfectly with cocktails, wine, brunch, or dinner.

We also create an in-house vegan cashew cheese and rotate seasonal flavors regularly, allowing us to offer a fully vegan board experience as well.

As Claywood continues to grow and evolve, we’re excited to bring back some of the elements guests first fell in love with — while continuing to build the brunch and dinner experience this community has asked for.

Still thinking about this birthday dinner 🤍🍸

If you’re looking for a date night spot in Hendersonville that absolutely delivers on atmosphere, flavor, and experience… make your reservation at Claywood.

We celebrated my birthday there last night and every single dish was incredible. From the perfectly crafted espresso martini to the warm homemade bread served with rich butter, oil & vinegar… it only got better from there.

The steamed mussels were packed with flavor, the farm fresh chicken paired with buttery mashed potatoes was comfort food at its finest, and the berry cobbler crumble with homemade ice cream was the perfect ending to the night. ✨

One of my favorite things about living in Western North Carolina is getting to experience local places like this that make our community so special. Hendersonville truly has some hidden gems, and this one deserves all the love.

Change is uncomfortable — but it’s also necessary.

When we opened Claywood, we immediately faced street closures right outside our doors. Then came Hurricane Helene. Then came the reality of learning and understanding what this community truly wanted from us.

Through every season, challenge, adjustment, and evolution, one thing became clear:

If you want to build something that lasts, you have to be willing to listen, adapt, and grow.
That growth hasn’t always been easy. We’ve changed menus, refined service, rebuilt systems, and even restructured teams along the way. (ALL WITHIN 2 YEARS, but honestly thats just how I operate) Sometimes the people around you grow with the vision — and sometimes they don’t. But staying stagnant was never an option for us.

Today, we’re incredibly proud of where Claywood is heading.

One of the biggest things we kept hearing from guests was how much they missed the original Land & Sea Boards that helped define some of our earliest memories here. So we listened — and brought them back with renewed intention.

These boards represent exactly who we are:
Thoughtful sourcing.
Seasonal ingredients.
Gathering around the table.
A balance of elevated and approachable.

Combined with a dinner and brunch menu shaped by the feedback of this community, we feel more connected than ever to what Hendersonville has asked us to become.
