The Cheese Chicks were out of office this week because we were busy having the best experience at Round Mountain Creamery !!
If you ever find yourselves around Black Mountain NC do yourself a favor and book a farm tour with them! From meeting all the goats to a fabulous cheese tasting at the end, we can’t thank Adam and Sarah enough for the amazing experience. Now it’s time to clock back in just in time to kick off Octoberfest in Helen! We will be extending our hours to meet all your perfect pairing needs 🍻🧀🍷

Our original Cheese Chick Mrs. Donna passed away this week. She was the epitome of a hard working, generous and selfless woman. Our sweet Donna was always moving behind the scenes. She was the creative ingenuity that whenever we had a problem, our Donna was on top of it! From her delicious baking for our shop (the whole reason for ordering our boxed lunches was for her cookies.. let’s be honest 🤪) to her quick thinking and handy skills, the Cheese Chicks were always covered because we had Donna. There truly wasn’t a thing that the woman couldn’t do!! While we will all miss her so much, each one of us is a better woman because of her. Her work ethic was unmatched and her loving presence and generosity will leave a lasting impact on all of us. We were so lucky to spend 4 days a week for 6 years with her and while it doesn’t seem like enough, we can all walk each day knowing our sweet Donna will forever and always be in our hearts, memories and most important our character. What a woman she was!! To the original Cheese Chick, we are better because of you 🩷🧀

We will be closed next weekend, August the 27th- 30th
We have a wonderful opportunity to do some research and development, more to come on that later 😉 Thank you all for a wonderful summer season! We will return to our regular hours September 3rd just in time to kick off the Oktoberfest season.
