We took one of our Decent Espresso Machines and our two Cowan Community Center interns up to Whitesburg ARH Hospital today for a market pop up. It was a fun afternoon making coffee and Lora Parks/Leane Chaney.

Thank you to everyone who came out and thank you to everyone who visited our downtown City of Whitesburg this morning/afternoon as well. We apologize for the disrupted workflow as we took equipment off bar today 🙃

We’re doing a little redecorating this afternoon! Come check out the Southeast Kentucky African American Museum and Cultural Center’s Juneteenth art exhibit at our Hazard store all week!

The mission of the Cultural Center is to explore, recover, and preserve the rich history of African-Americans in Southeast Kentucky and to display and share their stories.
