Well... after yesterday's rain, everything is officially soaked.
The grass is soaked.
The parking lot is soaked.
The mosquitoes are probably building waterfront property. 😂

But the good news is...
Bomb Dog is BACK and ready to roll!

The clouds have moved on, the steamers are warming up, and it looks like it's shaping up to be a pretty nice day.

After a lengthy meeting with management, the weather department, and a puddle in the parking lot...
We've made the difficult decision to CLOSE today. ☔😂
Mother Nature woke up this morning and chose violence.
We tried negotiating.
We offered her a Chicago Dog.
We even offered her a lemonade.
She wasn't interested. 😒
As much as we'd love to be out there slinging dawgs today, the rain has other plans.
The good news?
The food isn't going anywhere.
The steamers will be back.
The lemonade will still be cold.
And Bomb Dog will be ready to roll again as soon as Mother Nature decides to quit acting like she's getting paid by the raindrop.
Until then, stay dry, stay safe, and maybe use today as an excuse to tackle that project you've been putting off for six months. 😂
Or don't. We won't judge.

So we positioned the Bomb Dog in a better location in our lot. Please dont park out in the middle of the lot. It makes it too hard for others to get in or out. We have limited parking now so please be mindful that our boss that owns the building is still running their business too so try not to park in front of his doors. Thanks again. We are open and ready to serve you now. Have a great day.

There are 2 entrances to this lot. One is on Michigan Ave that runs past Kwik Trip carwash AND an entrance on Hwy 63. Use either one.

P.s. We now have a picnic table set out so you dont have to tailgate anymore! Yea!

That was a pretty good reminder that Mother Nature is still undefeated.
One minute it's calm...
The next minute lawn chairs are applying for frequent flyer miles. 😂
The good news?
We really needed the rain.
The grass is happy.
The gardens are happy.
The mosquitoes are probably planning a celebration parade. 😒
