We’re lucky to have Sydney as part of our team through our internship program. A dedicated student, athlete, 4-H member, and all-around wonderful human, she represents so much of what makes our community special.

I know they say you don’t get to choose your coworkers, but every now and then you get lucky enough to find ‘your’ people where you work.

The ones who make you laugh until your cheeks hurt, sing a long to your playlist, get jiggy while cleaning, jump in when things get busy, and somehow turn an ordinary workday into something worth remembering.

I am so grateful for this team, this community, and all the moments in between.

A big thanks to the whole silly goose crew!

THIS Saturday, May 16, come celebrate 16 years of community barn dances at the Historic Hayden Granary and over 100 years of community dances in Hayden, Colorado thanks to the inspiration of Ferry Carpenter and the ladies at the historic Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts School & Camp.

Basic line dance instruction will kick off the evening at 6:30 p.m. to bring a little boot scootin' electric slide kind of joy into your life.

All ages welcome, with a suggested donation of $10/adult, $5/youth (12 & under) helps the Historic Hayden Granary keep this fun community event going.

Come early for supper with Sage and Spirit food truck next door and enjoy a beverage at the Hayden Taphouse. It's all for a good time and a great cause... "preserving the historic Hayden Granary as a community gathering place in Northwest Colorado” and keeping Hayden's community dance tradition alive! For more information, go to www.haydengranary.org.
