Our opening day is getting closer!

These past few weeks have been full — we've been getting the restaurant ready to open exactly the way we want it to be for your dining experience. We have fresh colors and features that allow for more privacy in the booths. We've added our own design touches and improved the lighting throughout. We have added upgrades to the bar and brought all plumbing and electric up to code per city requirements. We've also spent countless hours cleaning every inch of the restaurant so we can open to our standard. The final decorating touches are going in — the little things that are going to make your dining experience something to remember.
There's still plenty to do, but we're getting there. We're finishing up our final inspections and securing our licenses. Once those are completed, we'll have a much better idea of our official opening date — and we'll announce it as soon as we can on our page and other social media pages.
What to expect when we open? An upscale bistro with no pretense — some menu favorites you already love, plus new flavors for you to try. We can't wait to see you!

Meet Keon’s Ownership Team!

Bill Vadeboncoeur- Owner/Front of the House Manager. Bill has over 40+ years of experience in the restaurant and bar business. He is very familiar with Haverhill having worked at Mr. Mike’s for eight years, Haverhill Country Club for tweny years and the Essex Street Grille for eight years. Bill is looking forward to serving Haverhill from behind Keon’s historic bar from the Ratskellar.

Ada Vadeboncoeur Owner/Administrative Manager. A teacher/special educator/administrator for over thirty years. She is responsible for all office administration and duties. In addition to her office duties, Ada is looking forward to greeting and getting to know the guests at Keon’s.

Rob DeFrancrsco - Chef Rob - Owner/Back of the House Manager/Executive Chef. Rob has 25 plus years in the restaurant business as an executive chef and has managed multiple restaurants. He is looking forward to the development of new menu items to add to some of the classics you know and love from Keon’s

We appreciate your patience in posting updates. Since we purchased Keon’s on July 22nd, 2026, the ownership team has been working hard. We have personally deep cleaned the restaurant, basement and kitchen. We are working closely with the city and are in the process of bringing the plumbing and electrical up to code. We have added some fresh colors and some of our own design ideas to the restaurant area. We are excited for you to see what we have done.

We will be honoring previous gift cards so please hold onto them. We’re working with the Toast POS system to be able to acquire all pre-existing gift cards in the system. To answer a previous question being asked, we will not be doing Groupon. Any previously purchased Groupons can be refunded through Groupon.

Something new, Keon‘s will be opening at 4 PM daily. Hours of operation will be Monday through Thursday 4 to 9 PM Friday and Saturday 4 PM to 10 PM. Reservations are suggested and walk-in seating available although there may be small wait. Limited bar reservations are available as well. Bar seats will be open for walk-ins.

We are unsure of an official opening date based on what we currently have in process, but we will be updating you all as soon as we can.

We look forward to serving the Haverhill community again soon.

Keon's has been purchased and will reopen soon - still Keon's and still the neighborhood spot you know and love! We are bringing back your favorite menu classics and introducing fresh new dishes we are excited for you to try!
