Nanas meatballs, Nana and Papa were from Italy, they cooked, they had restaraunts,I lived with them in Salisbury beach, in my teens attending Triton and Whittier.
When they cook, you cook, you help prepare, or at least watch.
My friends would be sitting on my couch picking thier teeth, holding thier Belly because Nana fed them meatballs and fried dough every Sunday morning breakfast...her meatballs did not need sauce to taste good but in a fried dough folded with meatballs drizzled with her sauce, topped with fresh real parmesan, mangia she said.

I'm making Nanas meatballs tommorow so sketti and meatballs. meatball subs for you ...❤️ my family

How do we make chicken soup???
Cook 2 or 3 chickens for many hours...
Dispose of carcasses...
Strain and season... parsley,salt,pepper,garlic...
Cut up and add veggies...
Cook another 1/2 hour...
Cut fresh chicken breast and add...
Cook another 1/2 hour...
Add cooked rice or noodles when served so it does not get mushy...
Enjoy a drizzle of good olive oil and fresh parmesan is nice...
