☕️📖Monday Moment in the Word📖☕️
“Sow righteousness for yourselves, reap the fruit of unfailing love, and break up your unplowed ground; for it is time to seek the Lord, until He comes and showers His righteousness on you.” — Hosea 10:12
Following Jesus doesn’t happen by accident—it happens as we intentionally seek Him.
Hosea reminds us that “it is time to seek the Lord.” As we seek Him day after day and choose to obey His Word, He begins transforming us from the inside out. Our thoughts begin to reflect His. Our words become kinder. Our actions become more loving. We don’t become righteous by trying harder—we become more like Christ as we draw closer to Him and allow Him to change us.
Seeking the Lord isn’t complicated, but it is intentional. If you’re wondering how to seek Him, start here:
* Spend time reading His Word, even if it’s just a few verses each day.
* Talk to Him in prayer honestly, just as you would a close friend.
* Worship Him throughout your day, thanking Him for His goodness.
* Surround yourself with other believers who encourage you in your faith.
* Most importantly, put into practice what He teaches you. Every step of obedience is another step of becoming more like Jesus.
The more time we spend with Christ, the more we begin to reflect Christ. Just as seeds don’t produce fruit overnight, spiritual growth takes time. But every moment spent seeking Him is shaping us into the people He has called us to be.
So as this new week begins, don’t just ask God to bless your plans. Ask Him to transform your heart. Seek Him faithfully, obey Him wholeheartedly, and trust Him to continue the good work He has begun in you.
