☕️📖Monday Moment in the Word☕️📖

“My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.”

This verse serves as such a powerful reminder that God’s grace is one of the greatest gifts we could ever receive — not because we deserve it, but because He freely chooses to give it. His grace meets us in our weakness, covers our shortcomings, and reminds us of His endless love and mercy.

When we truly understand the value of God’s grace, it changes the way we respond. We don’t look at grace as permission to continue in our old ways; we see it as a gift that draws our hearts closer to Him. The more we recognize how much He has forgiven, loved, and provided for us, the more we desire to honor Him with our lives.

Grace doesn’t just rescue us from sin — it transforms us. It creates in us a desire to turn away from what separates us from God and to pursue righteousness because we love the One who first loved us.

This week, may we not take God’s grace for granted. May we pause and appreciate the depth of His mercy, allowing His grace to shape our choices, our attitudes, and the way we love others.

God’s grace is not something we earn — it is something we receive, treasure, and allow to change us — and how beautiful is that?🤍

☕️📖Monday Moment in the Word☕️📖

“David said to the Philistine, ‘You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.’”
1 Samuel 17:45

It’s easy to read the story of David and Goliath and think it’s only about defeating giants. But for most of us, the giants we face don’t stand on a battlefield. They show up as financial stress, difficult relationships, uncertainty about the future, overwhelming responsibilities, health concerns, or simply the weight of trying to carry too much on our own.

What stands out in this passage is that David didn’t focus on Goliath’s size. He focused on God’s power. While everyone else saw reasons to be afraid, David remembered who God was and what He had already done.

The same is true for us. When we focus only on the challenge in front of us, fear can quickly take over. But when we remember God’s faithfulness in the past, we can face today’s struggles with confidence. God never promised that we wouldn’t encounter giants and earthly burdens, but He does promise to be with us through every battle.

As you begin this week, take a moment to consider: What giant are you facing right now? Instead of measuring it against your own strength, measure it against the greatness of God. The obstacle may still be there, but so is the Lord. And He will never leave you and He is more than able to carry you through whatever lies ahead.

Trust Him with the outcome. Trust Him with the process. Trust Him even when you can’t see how things will work out and know He is with you!
