In spring of 2009, Schoolhouse Scoop opened its doors at 919 Vermillion Street in Schoolhouse Square in Hastings.

What started as a small, family-owned ice cream shop has stayed pretty consistent ever since—good ice cream, friendly service, and a simple place for people to stop in and enjoy a treat. Over the years, it’s become a familiar spot in the community with 40 flavors of ice cream and fresh homemade waffle cones.
