It's a beautiful day for our Harwich Chamber of Commerce Port Summer Nights, Harwich Port Free Musical Strolls tonight 5-8pm
Tonight's Lineup and Locations- The Detours at Cape Roots Market and Cafe, Renzi Band at The Silly Goose , Mark's Music Cape Cod at Pilgrim Congregational Church and The Riptide Band Cape Cod will round out the lineup and will be at Bank and Main. A few member pop ups will be back tonight and The BEST FRESHEST POPCORN our Pilgrim Lodge Masons are popping it up fresh out front of the Chamber. It's going to be a great night.. See you tonight 5-8..

Just a heads up for all those inquiring minds regarding Wednesday Night our Harwich Chamber of Commerce Port Summer Nights, Harwich Port Free Musical Strolls for tomorrow night. We have reached out to all the bands as it is their decision and their expensive equipment. They need to let us know by 2pm Wednesday so we can then reach out to the Police to cancel our police details we hire. So stay tune here - we will make the announcement tomorrow at 2pm. As the weather is being closely watched but it isn't looking in our favor but we have the anti-rain dance happening... More to come. Make it a great day!

With only 4 days left of our Christmas in July Festival of Trees -have you placed your bid on your favorite Tree (s).... Bidding ends at noon on Friday and all winning trees must be picked up by 3pm on Friday. It's truly a Hallmark moment come helps us give back to our community as we support and fill The People's Fridge.

What’s better than coffee and our history. Looking forward to this great event at Brooks Academy. Saturday August 8th 9am-11am.

Hear ye, hear ye!

On Saturday, the 8th of August from 9a until 11a the Harwich Historical Society will be hosting a gathering of everyone interested in our town's amazing past.

Come to the Brooks Academy Museum in the Center where we will be serving *FREE* Chase & Sanborn coffee — iced and hot — so everyone can get a sip of what all the fuss is about!

(We're thinking of calling it the Third Great Awakening!)

Stop by for a delicious java and sneak a peak into the Museum prior to the next phase of work. It's kind of a "before" party! After the work is completed, we'll have the "after" party — more free coffee and some incredible exhibits are in the works, too.

In case that's not enough, Duncan Berry will be giving an illustrated talk about how four generations of the Chase family changed the course of history in our town and our nation.

It's a story about how one family "cracked the code" for survival in the unforgiving conditions colonial era and emerged in the early 20th century as a global enterprise with a national consumer brand advertised by radio and TV.

The coffee story is just one of two enterprises that are still in business in the 21st century! (The other is an adhesive firm, but we will not be serving any glue.)
