Someone asked me recently, “Why do you do so much? You’re an accountant, you own a restaurant… and now you’re baking too?”
My answer was simple:Because I refuse to be defined by just one thing.
I’m incredibly grateful for my accounting career and every opportunity it has brought into my life. But I also believe God gave each of us more gifts and abilities than we realize.
The sad part is, some people will never discover theirs,not because they aren’t capable, but because they’re afraid. Afraid to fail. Afraid to start something new. Afraid of what people will say.
Don’t let fear decide how far you go.
So yes… now I bake. ❤️ And I’m loving discovering this side of myself and sharing it with all of you!!
Neno’s has become more than a restaurant to me. It’s a place where I get to create, experiment, learn, share pieces of my culture, and put a little bit of myself on every plate and every dessert that leaves our kitchen.
Maybe there’s something inside of you waiting to be discovered too.
