We actually pay extra for a premium, high-fat cream base because we want the best quality possible. It’s delivered fresh to us from a local dairy distributor, and that higher fat content is what gives our rolled ice cream its rich, smooth, creamy texture and fuller flavor. We could use a cheaper mix—but at Love Treats, the cream is where the difference starts.
