We want to share an exciting new chapter with our community.

Many of you already know me — my name is Anthony Young, and I’ve had the privilege of running the deli since the day it first opened as Phil’s Deli. Over the past year, I’ve been blessed to serve so many familiar faces, and this place has truly become part of my life.

I’m grateful to share that I have now officially taken ownership of the deli.

This restaurant has always been about more than food. It’s about community, conversation, and a place where people can feel welcome. My goal moving forward is to continue the things people have always loved while also growing and improving where we can.

As part of this new chapter, the deli will begin moving forward and transitioning into a new name: The Mustard Seed Deli.

The name comes from the teaching of Jesus about the mustard seed — something very small that, when nurtured, grows into something much greater. That idea reflects our hope for this deli: that a simple place with good food and good people can grow into something meaningful for our community.

While the name will change, the heart behind the deli remains the same — serving great food, treating people well, and being a place where our community gathers.

We’ve also launched our new page where we’ll be sharing updates, specials, and news as we grow into this new chapter.

Along with the new ownership and small changes, we will be change our hours. Starting next week, we will stay open until 6pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The dining room will close at 5pm, but our drive-thru will stay open until 6pm.

Thank you to everyone in Harriman and the surrounding area who has supported us. I’m truly grateful, and I look forward to many more years serving this community.

We are a family owned and operated high end deli serving generous portions of high quality meats on all our sandwiches.

Breakfast is served from 7am until 11am.

Lunch is served all day.
