Here at Milk & Honey we hope to provide our guests with a simple yet excellent eating experience. We use fresh, local ingredients to create meals that appeal to a wide variety of tastes, while maintaining an accessible price point for any who might wish to join us. Building and sustaining our local community is very important to us, so we strive to support as many producers of high quality, locally-grown food as possible. Our fast casual dining service allows folks to choose a quick meal to go if their time is limited - or if it is not, to enjoy a relaxing experience in our newly-renovated space in the historic Booth Building. We hope to preserve and promote our restaurant as one piece of Harlan’s vibrant downtown square.

Hi, we have lots of new faces here 👋

🐝We opened our doors in 2015- in the Saylor Hotel. In 2023 we moved to the historic Booth Building on the square in Harlan. Always with a mission of serving farm to table food at affordable prices to our community. Food made from scratch and with high-quality ingredients. Using beef, pork, and eggs from our farm and sourcing dairy, produce, and more from neighboring farms. 🐝

🍯We offer gluten-free and vegetarian menu items as well as other dietary needs and accommodations. 🍯

Wednesday - Sunday 7am-2pm
Friday night 5pm-8ish- special events happening each week!

We offer breakfast and lunch all day☀️

Thanks to everyone who attended the Solutions for Iowa’s Cancer Crisis townhall this afternoon. We heard personal stories from Mitch Osborn and Nancy Gessman. The work that Nishnabotna Water Defenders and Shelby County Relay for Life are doing in our communities. We met Charlie Morris who directed the film "The Broken Circle". AND we heard from candidates that are on the ballot this election.

Unfortunately, we didn’t quite reach the reservations needed to host our Fall Brunch Buffet, so we’ll be serving our regular brunch menu next weekend instead.
