Thank you everyone who voted for The Anchor's chili last weekend 🥰 We look forward to hosting the trophy this year- and maybe for a longer run!! Several people have asked and sorry, nope, we are not sharing the recipe. It is a friend's family recipe 🍅🌶🫑🥣

Also, many people were asking when Saturday Game Nights would resume. We miss Sophia and are needing to reorganize and recruit some extra volunteers. But we hope to resume Game Nights and be open some Saturdays this fall soon.

Harvest Festival weekend is almost here, Harbor Beach! 🔥🌶️

Our newest little Anchor friend is ready for the festivities, and so are we!

This is one of those weekends we love. Our community comes together, there’s something happening around every corner, and we get a chance to have some fun with all of you.

The Anchor is joining the City of Harbor Beach Chili Cook-Off! 🥣🏆

We’ve been smoking up something special for the competition, and we can’t wait for you to try it. Stop by, grab a sample, and cast your vote! We’ll admit, we’re hoping to earn it. 😉

Need a refresher after all that chili? We’ll be serving up your favorite drinks at The Anchor too! 🥤

Bring the kids for activities and bounce houses behind the Murphy Museum, check out the Craft Expo, the WLEW car giveaway, see all the scarecrow entries around town, and enjoy everything happening for Harvest Festival.

💪 AND THE FUN CONTINUES SUNDAY!
John Jacobs’ Next Generation Power Force will be at Lighthouse Assembly of God at 10:30 AM and 6:00 PM.

It’s a FREE event for the whole community, with an incredible strength show and, even more importantly, a message of strength and hope. ❤️

We’re looking forward to a full weekend of community, good food, fun, and time together.

The Back to School Party yesterday was a blast! 🎉

The Anchor was FULL! Full of kids and families, laughter and conversation, games, familiar faces and new connections. We loved seeing our space filled with young people and families simply enjoying time together. That’s what made the afternoon so special. Thank you to everyone who came out and helped us kick off the school year together!

We had so much fun, and we already can’t wait to do it again!

Tomorrow is the first day of a brand new school year! We’re looking forward to all this year might hold for the kids and teens in our community, and we’d love to kick it off together!

After school tomorrow, come hang out with us at The Anchor from 3–5 PM!
