📅 A new date, a fresh perspective! 💡

📸 We’re excited to showcase the photography of local artist and Tavern regular Ricky Symsick as part of Hapeville Main Street’s Fall Gallery Crawl! 🖼️

Ricky is a mechanical engineer-turned-photographer who shares his passion for film photography as a darkroom instructor at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center, helping students explore black-and-white film development and printing. Stop by our pool room to explore his work and celebrate an evening of art and community with us! 🍂

What an inspiring evening with our incredible artist community! 🎨

Thank you to every artist who joined us for last week’s Artist Mixer! Whether participating in this year’s Fall Gallery Crawl or hoping to get involved in the future, we loved seeing local creatives connect, exchange ideas, build new relationships, and continue shaping the vibrant arts community that makes Hapeville so special. 🦋

We’re also thrilled to share that, through our two Gallery Crawl fundraising events, we raised more than $1,000 in support of artist Lola Okunola’s "The Fabric of Hapeville"! 🧵❤️ This interactive mixed-media artwork will invite Gallery Crawl guests to add their own contribution, helping to create a piece that reflects the people, stories, creativity, and connection woven throughout our city.

A huge thank-you to Hapeville Main Street for collaborating with us to create this gathering and for all they do to champion local artists, small businesses, and community-centered events. 🙌

🎨 Artists, join us Tuesday, September 29th at Corner Tavern for an Artist Meet-Up!

From 5–9 PM, come out for dinner, drinks, networking, and a chance to connect with fellow artists and the Hapeville Main Street team. Main Street staff will be there from 5–7 PM to meet artists, answer questions, and share more about upcoming Main Street arts programming and opportunities.

Even better, 20% of the evening’s proceeds will support Hapeville’s newest public art project, The Fabric of Hapeville by Lola Okunola! 🦋

The piece will have an interactive component during our upcoming Gallery Crawl on October 10th, where attendees will have the opportunity to learn the art of paper quilling and contribute to the artwork.
