It’s not a school night, but it’s still getting dark quickly, so still expect that if we haven’t hit your street by 8:20 that we most likely won’t get to you (Clearview, you know we always at least stop at the McCosh intersection on our way out, so head there if you’re towards the end of Clearview!)

Field hockey yesterday, cross country today! We’ll be serving runners and their families starting at 4:30 and will head out on our routes after that.

After some amazing hockey games this past weekend, the girls deserved a little celebration! 🎉

SEPTEMBER IS HERE!!!! How?!? This summer has flown by! This is our LAST MONTH of routes - we do routes until the last day of September, and then we do events in October before closing up for the season.

September brings back a favorite topping of the month: cheesecake bites!!! I love these. Shown here in a small cup with strawberry topping, these are also popular with brownie bites, caramel syrup, or chocolate syrup! Or delicious by themselves. We do not have any leftover s’mores mix to carry on the truck, so that’s officially done.

Tonight we’ll be at the Baer Ave playground around 5:30, then will head to

📣 For the rest of the season, at 8:20pm our trucks will finish the street they’re currently serving and then head home for the night. 📣

As we get into a new school year and the sun sets earlier, it’s disappointing for people at the end of the route to wonder if we’ll make it to them, and it’s hard for us to be split wanting to get to each house but also not being able to see well. We can’t go by public opinion, because for every one message we get telling us to turn our obnoxious music off and stop driving around at night, we get three messages telling us how we ruined their evening and disappointed their kids because we DIDN’T keep driving around at night.

So, like we usually try to do, we are going with what’s most consistent and what’s safe. You all can know that if you don’t hear our music on your street yet and it’s 8:20, we won’t be getting to you that night, and we can plan routes based on that ending window of time and make some adjustments like we are tonight.

8:26 - I’m so sorry Sherry Village, we have gone as far as we can! Thank you for those of you who came and lined up at the entrance!!

One of the most fun things about this season is every once in a while, one of us gets to bring our daughter to an event!! She is doing great on one truck at a celebration of life service, while the other truck is at Columbia Cottage for an event there! Since that’s so close to Timber Lane and we have a 7:00 event to work in, around 4:15 one truck is going to do
