Commercial interiors have included an ice cream parlor, restaurant, dentist's office, insurance agency, property management office, horse barn viewing room and a nursing home. My business has grown tremendously through referrals. My relationship with a client is built on trust and intuitively understanding their tastes and needs. Completely unrelated but I stumbled upon this while searching for another photo of an IKEA sofa we bought years ago.

That sofa has traveled through several abodes and now resides here in bits and pieces because, apparently, I’ve lost every single screw needed to put it back together.

Still haven’t found the photo I was looking for.

Every time I upgrade my phone—which is approximately once every geological era—the AT&T guy has the same question:

“Why do you have SO many text messages saved?”

Apparently, I need to be able to give my client the exact name of the wall paint I recommended four years ago and be her hero.

So no, I’m not deleting the texts.

I’m preserving history.
I’m maintaining records.
I’m basically the Library of Congress… but with paint colors.

And because I only think of this kid’s interview everytime I say or write the word “apparently” you have to watch it too.
