A LITTLE KŌKUA FOR PINEAPPLE EXPRESS KAUAI 💛
As a small, local, family-owned business, I wanted to share a little bit of what we are going through right now.
We had two full wedding caterings scheduled for September, and unfortunately, both events were canceled. We are now being asked to refund those catering payments, at a time when our small business is already facing the financial challenges that come with recovering from Hurricane Lowell.
Like so many families and small businesses here on Kauaʻi, we are trying to recover, keep our doors open, pay our employees, cover our bills, and continue serving our community.
We completely understand that unexpected things happen, and we are doing our best to work with everyone involved. At the same time, these cancellations have a very real impact on a small business like ours. Catering dates are reserved months in advance, preparation and labor are committed, and those dates cannot simply be replaced at the last minute.
🙏 We are asking for a little Kōkua.
Our roof on our home got destroyed. If you can support Pineapple Express Kauai by stopping by for lunch, ordering a plate, sharing our posts, booking future catering, or simply telling a friend about us, it truly makes a difference. You can also donate to our Venmo account located in the comments down below🙏
Every plate we serve helps our small business keep moving forward.
We are proud to be Kauaʻi local, family-owned, and committed to serving our community. Through the hard times, we stand together.
🌺 Kauaʻi Strong.

Mahalo nui loa to everyone who has supported us, especially during these difficult times. Your Kōkua means more than you know. ❤️🙏🏽
