💕 A little reminder from your favorite cake lady! 💕
Sweet Cakes, LLC is CLOSED on Sundays & Mondays!
Once I close my doors at 2 PM on Saturday, I am officially off the clock when it comes to messages and phone calls until Tuesday at 12 PM. That means DMs, text messages, phone calls, and everything in between will not be answered during that time.
As much as I absolutely LOVE what I do and love serving this amazing community, I have to remind myself that I’m human too. 🥹💗
I pour so much of myself into this business. The long hours, late nights, early mornings, and everything that goes on behind the scenes can be exhausting. And while I wouldn’t trade this dream for anything, my family deserves a present wife and mom, and I deserve time to rest and recharge too.
And just because the storefront is closed doesn’t mean the work stops! 😂 Even on my “off days,” I’m still baking, prepping, and restocking the bakery to make sure everything is fresh and ready for y’all when those doors open back up on Tuesday. So while it may look like I have two days off, a good portion of that time is still spent working behind the scenes!
That’s why the time I DO get to spend with my family is so important to me. I need those moments to put the phone down, step away from the constant notifications, love on my family, and just BE. 💗
I am beyond thankful for every single person who supports Sweet Cakes. I couldn’t do what I love without y’all! 🥰
So please don’t think I’m ignoring you if you reach out during those hours. I promise I’ll get back to everyone once I’m back in business mode on Tuesday!
I love my business, I love my customers, but I also love my family, and finding a healthy balance between it all is something I’m learning to prioritize. 💕
Thank y’all for respecting my time, my family, and my boundaries. It truly means more than you know!
