We’re aiming to reopen the first week of September, and I’m SO excited to bring back some fall favorites. 🍂

But if you ask me what I’m MOST excited about? Our NEW + improved cinnamon rolls. 😭

I’ve been testing these bad boys for **months** tweaking the dough, the filling, the bake… all of it! I think I’ve finally perfected them.

They’re pillowy soft, perfectly spiced, and topped with a thick, caramelized vanilla glaze that literally tastes like vanilla pudding. 🤤

I seriously cannot WAIT for y’all to try these.

Can you believe it’s been ONE YEAR of Klein Sprouts?! 🥹🫜

We had absolutely no idea how it would be received, or if we would even make a single sale. Fast forward one year, and somehow we’ve built this incredible community that looks forward to our baked goods week after week.

Y’all have kept us busy, and for that, we are eternally grateful. You’ve shared us with your friends and family, told your neighbors about us, and brought Klein Sprouts along for some of life’s sweetest moments. From baby showers and first birthdays to bridal showers, celebrations, and everything in between.

What started as a little leap of faith has become so much more than we ever imagined, and we truly believe Klein Sprouts simply wouldn’t be where it is today without you.

From the very bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU for growing with us. 🫜

We’ve bumped into a few of you in the wild lately, and the question we keep getting is: “Will you be open soon?!”

And the short answer is … YES! We will be! 🥳

The slightly longer answer is… we’re not 100% sure exactly when just yet. 😅 We’re tackling our kitchen reno ourselves and currently waiting for our flooring and cabinets to arrive! In the meantime, we’ll be spending the weekend adding insulation, hanging drywall, and mudding away.

We seriously cannot wait to get back in the kitchen and start baking for you guys again. We miss it SO much!

So while we work on getting everything put back together… tell us what treats you’re hoping to see on (re)opening day! 🥰

We had such a blast chatting with Josh, The Hometown Lawyer, and his team! 🥰

We pour our hearts into everything we make, and the heart behind Klein Sprouts has always been to honor our late son, Donald. 💕

It’s truly a family affair around here. Our kids help add labels to many of our baked goods, and along the way, we’re teaching them what it means to work hard, serve others, and build something together.

We can’t wait to welcome you back when we reopen in a few weeks. We hope you’ll stop by and say hi! 💛

Our farmstand is officially stocked with fresh, organically grown veggies, herbs, and hand-picked flower bouquets! 🌿🍅💐

I used our homegrown vegetables, potatoes, and fresh herbs for dinner last night, and I have to say… it was one of the best meals I’ve made in a long time. There really is something special about cooking with food that was picked fresh from the garden.

The stand will be open 24/7 until everything is gone, so stop by whenever it’s convenient and grab some fresh goodies. 🥰

We miss you guys so much! 🥹

We officially have a non-functioning kitchen 😅, but we’re making the best of it and hoping to be back baking for you in just a few weeks.

In the meantime, our garden has officially reached the “there’s no way we can eat all of this” stage. 😂

If you’d be interested in a tray of homegrown veggies (a mix of tomatoes, peppers, and maybe even an eggplant 🍆), let us know in the comments!

If there’s enough interest, we’ll stock the farmstand with fresh garden trays this weekend. 💛

We got to visit family in New York and, of course, had to bring a little bit of Klein Sprouts with us! 💛

My baby cousin is having a baby, and she trusted me with decorating her shower cake. She showed me a few inspiration photos, and I think I nailed it. 🥹✨

This cake came with a lot of firsts for me:
-My first tall layered cake (and I finally learned how to make a tiered cake - woo!!)
- My first time creating a multi-colored sky design.
- My first time writing on a tall cake. It felt so unnatural, but I think it turned out pretty well!

I’ve been an artist at heart ever since I was a kid, and getting to completely zone out and create something special reminded me how much I love this kind of work. It also helped that my cousin is the chillest mom-to-be and made the whole experience so enjoyable.

Inside is a fluffy vanilla sponge filled with homemade strawberry jam and strawberry buttercream, finished with a buttercream design on the outside. 🍓🎂

This project also got me thinking… when we reopen, I’d love to offer a limited number of custom smaller cakes for birthdays, gender reveals, will you be my bridesmaid proposals!!! 🥹 If that’s something you’d be interested in, let me know in the comments! 💛

We absolutely love when you think of us to help celebrate life’s sweetest moments. 💛 When one of our customers asked us to help celebrate her little boy’s first birthday, there was no way we could say no!

Last week, alongside the chaos that is bake day, we had the joy of creating a custom order featuring a smash cake, a dozen cupcakes, and cookies for his special day. 🎉

Being invited to celebrate your family’s milestones is something we never take for granted, and we’re so grateful to be a small part of these special memories.

Now we can’t wait to be back and celebrate OUR first birthday with all of you! 🥹🎂
