First day of Fall and crisp refreshing temperatures, perfect day for our homemade chili or hearty beef barley soup!

09/15/2026

It's hot outside, but it's now cool inside Alexander's! We have AC, cold drinks and fresh salad fixins!

09/11/2026

We are open! Still no AC but the weather is beautiful and temperatures are good. Perfect day to make your own salad or have one of our signature sandwiches. We missed you all the past couple days!

One more day with no air, checked the temperatures this morning and using fans and everything we can think of it is still too hot for employees to be there. We are shooting for tomorrow hoping the lower outside temps will enable us to lower the temp inside. The part to fix the AC is still not in!

Our Air Conditioner died! If you stopped in yesterday, it was hot but we remained open. Today, that is not possible. When staff went in to prep this morning it was 105 degrees! We are closed today, sorry. We should be open tomorrow if the outside temperature drops tonight. The part is on order so stay tuned. Hope to see you tomorrow!
