Believe it or not, kickoff of the 2026 Hawks Football season is only 25 days away.

We have quite a few events lined up for this fall season, including our annual Military and First Responders Appreciation night on Friday, September 11th.

Today we’re excited to announce our 2026 Alumni Night on Hawk Hill. On Friday, September 25th, please join us as we welcome our alumni back to Hawk Hill for our annual homecoming game.

Pregame tailgate in the stadium catered by Backwood Brothers Authentic Texas Cuisine, Hamburg, PA, owned and operated by Hamburg Area High School alumnus, Tyler Dengler.

Cost is $28per adult, $15 per child (12 & under) which includes a buffet style meal of pulled pork, BBQ chicken, cheesesteaks, mac and cheese, baked beans, coleslaw, burgers, hot dogs, beverages (soft drinks/water/tea) and game ticket. Kids 4 and under are free. Tailgate will be within the stadium between the concession stand and Spirt Shack. Gates will open for tailgate attendees at 4:30pm. Tickets for this event must be pre-purchased through the Hamburg Area Sports Booster Club. NO tickets for this tailgate will be available on game day or thru the Hamburg Area Athletic Department.

Tickets go on sale this Wednesday. Link to purchase will be posted on the Spirit Shack page.

If you’re a Hamburg Area Alumnus, own a business that operates within the Hamburg Area School District or Northern Berks County and would like your business to be featured during this event, please reach out for additional details to [email protected]. Table/display space is limited and on a first come, first serve basis.

Many of you all know about our $10 cheesesteak Days. One thing we hear all the time is asking if we offer cheesesteaks any other days. The answer is yes. They were officially added to our menu over 2 years ago when we announced our Brisket Cheesesteak which quickly because one of our top selling menu items.

The $10 cheesesteak special started on the occasional Wednesdays in 2024 and became a every Wednesday special last year to celebrate 10 years in business

We see a lot of people also running $10 cheesesteak specials now which we think is great!

This is what we believe sets our apart

We do not have a set cheesesteak you can add whatever toppings you please at no additional cost

Berks county classic (sauce onions and American)
New age with cooper sharp and fried onions
Or even Cali style (lettuce tomato onion and mayo)
All are the same price we have an endless amount of toppings, sauces and cheeses to pick from to make whatever beautiful combination you like.

We believe the only thing that doesn’t belong in your cheesesteak is someone else’s opinion. 🤣
