Naifeh’s Steakhouse, a family owned and operated restaurant established February 19, 1979 by Zeke and Dee Naifeh. Zeke Naifeh, the son of Lebanese immigrants, was born Oct. 6, 1924 in Council Hill, Oklahoma. He grew up in May, Oklahoma and later Sapulpa, Oklahoma where he worked in his parents grocery stores as a butcher. In 1946, Zeke married Dolores Cohlmia also the daughter of Lebanese immigran
ts. In the early years of their married life, Zeke and Dee were well-known for their gracious style of entertaining and for their delicious home cooked meals! According to their friends and relatives, the Naifeh household was the place to be at meal time, and nothing pleased the couple more than feeding a crew of hungry folks! It was Zeke’s desire to combine his love of food and his knowledge of the meat business. An opportunity arose. With Dee’s support and approval, the two opened Naifeh’s Steakhouse in Guymon.
