The Village of Gurnee will be hosting a Gurnee Get-Together on Friday, September 11, 2026 from 5 to 7pm at Christine Thompson Park located at the corner of Woodlawn & Belle Plaine Ave.

This family-friendly event is free to attend. Bring your lawn chairs for a fun evening of live music, yard games, and crafts with the Gurnee Arts Commission! New to this year, we will have bounce houses for the children!

Music will be performed by No Limit, playing classic rock hits.
Food will be available for purchase from El Durango.

Unfortunately, early this morning our shop was one of many businesses affected by the break-ins in Waukegan / Gurnee

If you stop by and notice our door boarded up, please don’t worry — we are still open and operating as usual.

We’re incredibly grateful for the continued support from our customers during situations like this. It truly means everything to us.

If anyone has any information regarding the incident, please reach out to us directly or contact the Gurnee Police Department.
