Around here at Sugar Rush, iced coffee usually wins the popularity contest. But I’ll let you in on a little secret… I’m 100% Team Hot Coffee. Even when it’s 100° outside, you’ll still find me carrying a hot cup. There’s just something about it. It’s like a hug in a cup, and maybe it comes from growing up watching my family always drink their coffee hot. 🤎

Meanwhile, everyone else seems to be reaching for the iced coffee!

Ever wonder why our cookies all look so uniform? 🍪

The short answer:
they just look better that way.

The longer answer?
I’m a huge cookie fan, and I have a very specific idea of what the perfect cookie should look like, taste like, and feel like when you take that first bite. These cookies are exactly that.

Every cookie is baked in a 4” x 4” mold. That gives them a chewy edge and top while keeping the center soft. Think somewhere between a classic cookie and a deep-dish skillet cookie. Most of our cookies are baked this way, which also helps us keep every cookie the same size and maintain quality from batch to batch.

Funny story… I originally wanted bigger molds. I was planning on using 5” x 5” molds, but they were out of stock when I went to order them. Looking back, I’m so glad they were! Otherwise, we’d basically be selling mini cookie cakes. 😂

Everything happens for a reason, and these thick cookies have become some of y’all’s absolute favorites. They’ve also become one of my favorite things to make each day. There’s something special about mixing, baking, and decorating cookies that you know people are excited to come back for.

This giant cookie starts with a graham cracker base, is stuffed with gooey Hershey’s chocolate, with rich double chocolate cookie dough, and topped with a toasted marshmallow and a chocolate Teddy Grahams bear. 🤤
