“Seafood: shrimp, oysters, crabs, and the lovely warm water fish like Mahi, Grouper, and Snapper. We are so blessed to have such luxurious seafood bounty. But I am inspired and delighted by the local produce harvested every year right here in Baldwin County! Sweet white corn, beautiful red new potatoes, juicy homegrown tomatoes, - and the entire assortment of field peas and beans, not to mention the squashes and melons are just a smidgen of what's available during our Spring and Summer harvest! You can regularly find me at a roadside stand on any given day when I'm driving from my home in Fairhope to the beach to go to work. It's one of the sweetest pleasures of my life to pick through the day's harvest.” ~Lucy Buffett

This LuLu's koozie = legendary.

Over 10 years ago, Laura picked up a LuLu’s koozie in Gulf Shores. It quickly became much more than just a drink holder, it became her sidekick for beach days, vacations, bar nights, and countless adventures. Even after getting lost more than once, family and friends always made sure it found its way back.

When it finally came time to retire it, Laura and her husband, Dave, gave it the sendoff it deserved with a retirement party surrounded by the people who knew just how much that little koozie meant.

Today, it’s proudly displayed in a glowing shadow box in their home bar. A reminder that sometimes the smallest souvenirs hold the biggest memories.
Thank you Laura for sharing your awesome story and letting LuLu’s be a small part of so many legendary memories.

Oh, and Laura…we almost forgot. Every legend deserves a successor. We’ll be sending a brand new LuLu’s koozie your way…but don’t worry, we know it’s got some very big flip-flops to fill!
