💕 THANK YOU. 💕

Not just for this weekend, but for all the years of support, orders, referrals, shares, and encouragement you’ve given Confections 320.

To those who have been here from the beginning, those who joined along the way, and the new customers who supported One Last Batch, thank you. 🧁💕

What started with a prayer became more than I could have imagined. And once again, I’m reminded that I don’t have to know what comes next. I just have to trust the One who does.

Grateful for what has been and excited to see what God is baking up next. 💕

Here’s something most people probably don’t know about Confections 320…

When I started, I didn’t even know how to frost a cupcake. 😂

I kept trying to sign up for decorating classes, but every time, there weren’t enough people registered and the class would get canceled.

Finally I said, “Okay God, I need You to teach me.”

So I watched YouTube videos. I practiced. I messed some up. I practiced some more. And little by little, the Lord showed me how to do what I didn’t know how to do.

Sometimes we think we need to have everything figured out before we begin. But sometimes we just have to use what we have, start, and trust God to teach us along the way.

And the funny thing is, I started writing this to encourage somebody else, and the Lord turned it right back around and encouraged me. ❤️

There are still times when I don’t know what to do or how something is going to work out. But I’m reminded:

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
Proverbs 3:5-6

He directed my path then. He is the same God, and I believe He will do it again.

I don’t have to know exactly how. I just have to trust the One who does. ❤️

Since we’re doing One Last Batch, I thought I’d share a little about how Confections 320 got started… 🧁💕

Believe it or not, it started while I was sitting at my desk at my corporate job. I wanted something else to pour my energy into, so I prayed and asked God, “What can I do?”

I knew it wasn’t hair. 😂 That ministry was NOT given unto me.

Then a friend at work told me about some cake pops she had made. I decided to give them a try, and before long, I was making them for my daughter’s class and baking other treats to bring to work.

And this right here was my very first cake pop order. 🥹💕

From there, I kept baking, and eventually Friday cupcake sales became a thing. Somewhere along the way, Confections 320 was born.

Looking back, I didn’t have a business plan or know exactly where any of it was going. I just started with what was in front of me.

So if you’ve been praying about what’s next or wondering what you could do, don’t feel like you have to have the whole plan figured out. Pay attention to the little things God puts in front of you, and be willing to take the first step. You never know what He may do with it. 💕
