We’ve been a little quiet over here lately, and I wanted to finally give you guys a little update. 🤍
Recently, we learned there were some permits we needed that we weren’t aware of, so we’ve had to hit pause while we work through getting everything done the RIGHT way.
The good news?! 🙌🏼 We are currently working on getting all of the correct permits in Arkansas, and once those are approved, Social Grazes will be back up and running 100% there — refrigerators stocked, orders open, events, ALL OF IT! 🧀🍓🤍
Oklahoma is unfortunately going to take us a little longer. There are several things we still need to work through, and right now we don’t have a kitchen prospect in Oklahoma that will work for what we need. But we’re going to keep working, keep searching and keep growing.
I won’t lie — this setback has been HARD.
The devil has been in my head more times than I’d like to admit, and quitting has crossed my mind A LOT lately. But my family keeps reminding me, “If this is what you want to do, you cannot let this setback determine the outcome.”
And they’re right.
Maybe the fact that we’ve grown, that we’re doing well, and that this little business has become something bigger than I ever imagined is exactly why the devil wants me to believe I should quit.
And then, in the middle of all of this, one of the health inspectors said something to me that I honestly don’t think I’ll ever forget:
“If you did these, then that is an art, and you were meant to do it.” 🥹
Y’all… I could have cried right there. And those words have stayed in the back of my mind every time I’ve questioned whether all of this is worth fighting for.
So no, Social Grazes isn’t done. 🤍
We’re just learning. We’re adjusting. We’re getting everything in place. And we’re coming back stronger, wiser and ready for what’s next.
ANDDDD some more good news — we DO still get to participate in vendor events!! 🙌🏼🎉 And we are SOOO excited to see everyone THIS WEEKEND at Vintage Market Days! 🧀🛍️🤍 We have missed getting to see all of you, and we cannot wait to be back out there doing what we love!
