On Saturday we’re celebrating 10/10 day by offering our Local 1010 burrito and a small coffee for $10.10.

A bit of background: the owners’ dad, Jeff Mauch aka Mauchman, worked for the Local 1010 and the burrito is named after him. He’s now retired, but happily works as a full-time grandpa.

We’d also like to use this post to remind yall that the BP lockout still continues, leaving roughly 800 workers out of work. They’ve got an upcoming hearing about unemployment benefits on 10/16 and could use any/all support you can give. We always love when this tea latte comes up in rotation because first off, it’s tasty (big ups to Truly Teas for the incredible loose leaf tea) and secondly, because its name is a reference to protest signs used to rally against discriminatory laws towards q***r folks in the state. Shoot, Leslie’s joy alone could vanquish any meanies who disagree!!
