Happy Mid Autumn Festival and Supermoon! On the Lunar Calendar this is a time of celebration just after the Harvest. In East Asia people eat moon cakes, which represent prosperity and family reunion. If you're near a Chinese bakery today you should try some! They're usually filled with sweet adzuki bean, winter melon, or lotus. Peace and Blessings!

What's your favorite tea? Has anyone ever tried Green-Oolong before? We went out to an organic tea farm in Yilan this weekend. The farmer was showing us how to pluck the leaves and which leaves are better. This tea farm specializes in Green-Oolong (Qing), a slightly oxidized green tea. He says ocean moisture makes this area specifically good for this variety.

Not tea, but still good! It was my first time trying fresh cinnamon leaf, and the farmer made a type of herbal tea out of it that way really good. It was a sweet cinnamon.
