💚 O-CHA COMMUNITY CARE FUND 💚
O-CHA tea bar exists because of the people who gather here — both behind the counter and across the tables.
Like many small businesses, we’re in a slower season right now. Our focus is simple: keeping our staff employed and making a few thoughtful updates to the space so we can continue to serve this community well.
Many of you have asked how you can support O-CHA during this time. If you’d like to help, we’ve opened a Community Care Fund. Contributions go directly toward staff hours and light renovations.

🧉 Have you ever wondered about this emoji???? Yerba mate is a caffeinated herbal tea originating from South America and made from the leaves and stems of the Ilex paraguariensis plant. Traditionally drunk from a gourd, Yerba mate contains caffeine, theobromine, and antioxidants like polyphenols. The straw used for drinking yerba mate is called a bombilla (Spanish) or bomba (Portuguese) and functions as both a straw and a filter, with a spoon-like end that has small holes to keep the loose tea leaves out while sipping. We have both loose yerba mate and bombilla for sale at O-CHA tea bar. 🧉
